I guess this is where I tell you who I am…

I’m fortunate enough to be a son of God. I’m also the son of two amazing parents. Living examples of Christ-like love.

I’m lucky to be the older brother of a beautiful, tenderhearted sister.

I was born in Cairo, Egypt. Baptized into the anciently gorgeous Coptic Orthodox Church.

Since then, living in the USA, loving life.

Nests have broken. Pain has come and passed. But, comfort has been present throughout (from above) via family, friends, and my church. The road has never been boring!

I started writing this blog March of 2015. It’s been a dream and passion of mine to show the world how Awesome our Lord is. Living a life for the Lord is something I want to do – and I figured, why not write about it? Never thought of myself as a writer…

I want you to see, with me, that if we are receptive to His sweet words, our lives can change. Our lives can be more full. We’ve got so much potential, and eternal hope. Even if there’s pain and brokenness – He’s been the answer for me in the most difficult times. Because the rains will come.

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Luke 10:38-42

This passage continues to be the inspiration for this blog. All I want to do is sit at the feet of Christ, like Mary. Often times, we can be distracted…but #1thingisneeded. Being discipled. Living life – in that posture.
